Mrs. Emily T. (Shaheen) Shaheen, 95, a resident of Lawrence formerly of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9th, 2012 at the Mary Immaculate Restorative Nursing Center in Lawrence.
She was born on March 28th, 1916 in Lawrence to the late Mansour and Fouteen (Kalil) Shaheen. Emily was educated in the local schools of Methuen and was a parishioner of Saint Joseph's Melkite Catholic Church in Lawrence.
Emily worked for Sunny Brook Farms as a cashier for 20 plus years, where she made many friends.
She was a member of the Daughters of Saint Joseph's and of the United Lebanese Association Auxiliary. According to her family she was an avid Red Sox fan, loved to Bowl and play Bingo. She truly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, she was a true people person and enjoyed life.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph's Melkite Catholic Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the United Lebanese Cemetery in Andover, MA.
