STOICA, Monica Andreea Age 36, died January 31 at her home in Jamaica Plain, MA. She is survived by her loving husband Douglas Anthony Rolniak, her loving parents, Tudorel Stoica and Zoia Diaconu, her loving brother Lorin Stoica, his wife Luminita, and their daughter, Alexia. She was born April 23, 1975, in Caracal, Romania. She moved to the US for college and graduate school, earning a Masters Degree from the University of Arkansas in Computer Science. She married Douglas on September 22, 2011. She became a naturalized citizen in August 2005. Monica taught college level computer science for many years at Boston University. She also managed rental property. She was an avid gardener an animal lover, and a passionate supporter of just causes. The memorial service will be at First Church at 6 Eliot Street in Jamaica Plain at 6:30PM on Thursday, February 9.
