Joseph W. Coniglio, 73, of Londonderry, NH died Tuesday February 7, 2012 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Mr. Coniglio was born in Swoyerville, PA on April 12, 1938, a son of the late Phillip and Mary (Mirabile) Coniglio. He had resided in Londonderry for the past 11 years, formerly living in Kansas and Coventry, RI. He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for many years. He enjoyed making, playing and selling banjos and dulcimers. Mr. Coniglio also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sally Hetrick of Londonderry, his daughter, Michelle Holt and her husband Timothy of Taunton, MA, his son, David Coniglio of California, three stepchildren, Pam Handley and her husband Lee Winick of California, David Handley of Harrisburg, PA and Christopher Handley and his wife Lynn of Downingtown, PA, also 10 grandchildren, two nieces and five grandnieces.
Following cremation, a calling hour was held on Wednesday February 15, 2012 from 6 to 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 7:00pm in the funeral home. The family requests donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710.
