Donald F. Hall, Sr., 78, of Middleboro died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at home with his family by his side after a long illness. He was husband of the late Celeste (Choat) Hall.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Frederick and Violet (St. Aubin) Hall, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life. Prior to retirement in 1982, he was a truck driver for Reliable Homes of New Bedford. Mr. Hall was a loving father and good friend, who enjoyed playing cribbage.
Survivors include 3 sons: Zephrin Hall, James Hall and Donald Hall, Jr. all of New Bedford; 2 step-sons: Donald Sylvia of Fairhaven and Richard Smith of New Bedford; a step-brother: Laughlan Smith, Jr.; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Roger Duphily, 370 Marion Rd., Middleboro, MA.
