Roger A. Boisvert
Retired Wang Labs Carpenter

TEWKSBURY: Roger A. Boisvert, age 82, a lifelong Tewksbury resident, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012 at his daughter's home in Nashua, NH.
He was the beloved husband of Helen P. (Dwyer) Boisvert, who passed away on February 20, 2000.
Born in Tewksbury on September 29, 1929, he was a son of the late Arthur A. and Blanche A. (Monbleau) Boisvert.
Roger attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury High School.
In 1950, he enlisted in the military and served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. Roger was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Campaign Stars for his service.
Prior to his retirement , he was employed as a Carpenter by the Wang Company in Lowell, where he worked for 20 years.
Roger was a member of the Tewksbury Rod & Gun Club and a former member of the Tewksbury V.F.W. Post # 8164.
Roger enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.
Roger is survived by one son, Thomas A. Boisvert and his wife Barbara of Dover, NH; two daughters, Cathy T. Fay and her husband Mark of Nashua, NH and Deirdre A. Desmarais and her husband Dan of Hudson, NH; six grandchildren, Justin Boisvert, Danielle Cooper, Ryan and Meghan Fay, Gabrielle and Anthony Pennellatore; five great grandchildren, Kylie and Colin Fay, Joshia and Joelle Boisvert and Cole Cooper; one brother, Ronald Boisvert of NC; four sisters, Pauline Powers and her husband James, Doris Vigneault and Claire Bonugli all of Tewksbury, and Patricia Ciatti and her husband George of MN; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Roger was the brother of the late Richard, Raymond, Robert and Roland Boisvert and Theresa Valley, Lillian Sheehan, Jeanne Fentross and Yvonne Fischera.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
