Louise J. Cuoco

TEWKSBURY - Louise J. (Lorenzoni) Couco, 87, of Tewksbury, died Tuesday morning, Feb.19, at Wentworth Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Anthony“Tony” Cuoco, who died in 1997.
She was born in Boston, May 5, 1914, a daughter of the late Guido and Corrina (Romagna)Lorenzoni. She was raised in Somerville and had lived in Tewksbury since 1959.
She retired from Raytheon’s Shawsheen missile assembly division.
Since her retirement, she was a frequent visitor to the Tewksbury Senior Drop-In Center, and wasalso a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club.
She was an active parishioner at St. William’s Church. She was a voracious reader, and will beremembered for her lifetime of devotion to her family.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel A. and Judith (Nadeau) Cuoco ofBillerica, Richard E. and Barbara (Tucceri) Cuoco of Tewksbury, two sisters, Lillian Cefalo ofTewksbury and Ann Rill of Hot Springs, CA, five grandchildren, Edward Cuoco of Billerica, LisaAtkinson of VA, Paul Cuoco of CA, Julann Briggs and Kristi Rodgers both of Tewksbury andeight great grandchildren, Jill, Robert, Brady, Ryan, Edward, Thomas, Brennan, and Cassandra.
She was also sister of the late Clara Schena, William Lorenzo, Carl Lorenzo, and FrancisLorenzo.
Her Funeral Mass was held Friday, Feb. 22, in St. William’s Church. Interment was inTewksbury Cemetery.
