David S. Wood, 65, died Friday March 26, 2004 at home after an extended illness. He was surrounded by his family and friends, dying shortly after the bedside marriage of his beloved daughter.
Born February 18, 1939 in Waltham, MA he was the son of Roy and Edith Wood. He was raised and educated in Waltham and was a resident of Londonderry, NH for 27 years.
David began his career as a model maker at Avco Corp. and later working on Titan Missile installations for Marchetti. For 22 years he worked as an engineer for Honeywell retiring in 1982 to work in sales for fortune Metal Finishing. In 1994 David founded D.S. Wood Co., to design and build experimental tooling and fixtures for testing equipment. In 2001 he additionally acquired Abra-Tek Inc. selling sandblasting equipment and supplies.
David was a devoted husband, father, and friend

Many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Tuesday at 11:00am at the Windham Presbyterian Church, Church Road in Windham, NH followed by cremation.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home214 Main St. Salem, NH
