MORRELL, HELEN a lifelong resident of South Boston Feb 1 at age 96, passed away after a long and productive life. Born May 28, 1915, in Boston. Helen was employed for many years at the Sidney Hill Country Club. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. Helen was a member in good standing of the Castle Island Association/ Glee Club and parishioner of Gate of Heaven Church. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Bridget (Wyse) Dunphy. Wife of the late Harold Morrell. Sister of the late John & his wife Francis Dunphy of Mashpee & the late Louise & her husband Edward Sullivan of So. Boston. Mother of Michael & his wife Kathy of Cumming, GA, William & his wife Virginia of Abington, Judith & her husband John Barry of Lynnfield, Susan & her husband Robert Barrett of Barefoot Bay, FL, & Kenneth & his wife Susan of Quincy. Helen also leaves neices Jacqueline Gerbick, Patricia Dunphy, Audrey Kenneally, Michelle Connolly, nephews Joseph, Kevin and the late Edward Sullivan as well as 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be held in The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston Monday from 4-8 P.M.. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in The Gate of Heaven Church Tuesday at 10 A.M. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
