Stahl, Walter F., of Brockton, January 31, 2012 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Renate (Vogelbusch) Stahl. Devoted father of Ingrid Flores and her husband J. Robert of Virginia, Doris Faulds and her husband Rob of Westborough and Peter Stahl and his wife Elizabeth of Pennsylvania. Loving grandfather of Robert, Katherine and Claire Flores Andrew, David and Bethany Faulds and Ingrid, Daniel, Mark, Richard and Sarah Stahl. Son of the late Karl and Wilhelmina (Menslage) Stahl. Brother of Doris Davidson of PA, Karl Stahl of Duxbury, Barbara McCahon of Pembroke and the late Elsie Wood, Audrey Stahl and Leonard Stahl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Walter was born and raised in South Boston. He graduated from Boston English High School class of 1938 and from Northeastern University class of 1943. After college Walter served in the Army/Air Force during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was a retired banker from State Street Bank where he worked as the Bank Manager and Assistant Vice President. Walter served as a Deacon and was on the Board of Missions at Park Street Church in Boston.
Visiting hours at the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St.,rte. l39, Marshfield on Friday, February 3, from 3 to 7 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the First Congregational Church, 1981 Ocean Street Marshfield Saturday February 4, at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery Marshfield.
