Passed away peacefully on January 29, 2012. Born Nora Irene Holman in Pelican Rapids, MN to Martin John & Marit Nora Holman on September 25, 1917, one of ten siblings. Her father was a farmer and lay minister and her mother an immigrant from Norway. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1936 and moved to Minneapolis shortly thereafter where she worked as an administrative assistant for Holman Erection Company. In 1943, she married Lieutenant Palmer N. Henrickson. They had four sons, the youngest of whom, Peter Tim, died in 1988. She is survived by three sons, Dean (Diane), Lubec, ME; Gary, Fergus Falls; Larry (Shirley), Stillwater; one brother, Rolf Holman, Greycliff, MT; one brother-in-law, Andor (Betty) Henrickson, Minneapolis; two grandsons, Palmer (Greta), Billings, MT; Shawn, Laurel, MT; two granddaughters, Erika, Minneapolis; Kirsten, St. Paul; one great-granddaughter, Asia, Laurel, MT; one step-granddaughter, Heather (David), Billings, MT; and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral Service Friday (2/3) 4:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to Service. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an organization of your choice or sent to St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church, North St. Paul, MN.
