WEBSTER - Rita T. (Montville) Mozdzierz, 86, of Webster died Friday, January 27, 2012 in Knollwood Nursing Center, West Boylston after an extended illness. Her husband, Robert F. Mozdzierz, died in 1994.
She leaves 3 children, Elaine R. Fafard of Webster, Jeanne A. Beausoleil and her husband William of North Grosvenordale, CT and Mark A. Mozdzierz and his wife Barbara of Davenport, FL; 4 grandchildren, Karen Arsenault, Amy Salisbury, Robin Graves and Tara Mozdzierz; 8 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cassie, Steven, Andrew, Veronica, Bradley, Bailey and Autumn; a great great granddaughter Lillianna; a sister, Lucille Belanger of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Roland” Montville.
She was born in Leominster, a daughter of Joseph and Eva (Dion) Montville and lived in Webster most of her life.
Mrs. Mozdzierz worked as a cutter at Bates Shoe Company and then at Ethan Allen Company in Dudley before retiring in 1990. She was an ardent fan of the Boston Red Sox.
The funeral will be held Thursday, February 2, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, in the funeral home.
