Obituary

EAST BRIDGEWATER - Lisa F. Hanrahan, 40, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Connecticut, March 26, 2004, died at home after a long illness with ovarian cancer.

She was born in Medford on March 20, 1964, and was the daughter of Marguerite E. (Marshall) Kelly of Bridgewater and the late Francis X. Hanrahan.

Ms. Hanrahan was a graduate of Winchester High School in 1982.

She was a registered nurse, graduating from Bunker Hill Community College in 1990.

Ms. Hanrahan had worked at the V. A. Hospital in West Haven, Conn., St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport and the St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

She had lived in East Bridgewater for nine months, previously living in Manchester, Conn., Hamden, Conn., and Wallingford, Conn. She enjoyed animals, cooking and painting.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her identical twin, Linda A. Hanrahan of East Bridgewater; sisters, Peg Foley of N. Easton, Kathryn Sabia of Salem, Joyce Wade and her husband Peter of Farmington, Conn., and Laura Goldstein and her husband Jay of Newton. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her funeral service will be from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Wed. at 8:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial in Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro.
