Kenneth R. Castino, Jr., 49, of Fort Lauderdale, FL died Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Kenneth R. Castino, Sr. and Joan F. (Roza) Castino of Dartmouth.
Mr. Castino was employed as an office manager for Premier Medical in Florida.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandson who called him Banky, his family, and his friends. He also enjoyed the beaches in Fort Lauderdale and Cape Cod.
Survivors include his parents; his partner, Vincent T. Wright of Fort Lauderdale; his children, Jocelyn Castino of Benson, NC and Kyle Castino of New Bedford; his siblings, Gary W. Castino of New Bedford, Kevin W. Castino of Dartmouth, and Lisa L. Sacchetti and her husband Steven of Haverhill; his grandson, Landon Paul Tetreault of Benson, NC; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Dana Farber/Children's Hospital Cancer Center, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
