Leonard W. Harvie, age 69, of Ashland, MA, passed away following complications after surgery on December 26, 2011 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick.
Born in Boston, Leonard was the son of the late Ramon G. and Alma R. (Andrews) Harvie. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Herbert, Evander, and Donald Blakeman. Leonard retired from Ratheon Corporation in Andover, MA three years ago. He was a Civil War buff, enjoyed maritime ships, was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed gardening.
Leonard is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss his great sense of humor at family gatherings.
Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon to be followed by a graveside funeral service at Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.
