Claire Y.(Provencher) Custeau-Munro
Methuen, MA. Died peacefully on Friday, January 27th at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 84. She was born in Methuen on March 25, 1927 and lived in the area all of her life. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting and most of all being with her family and taking care of her grand children. Mrs. Custeau-Munro was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Lawrence.
The widow of Noel Custeau and Donald Munro she is pre-deceased by her son Philip, daughter Linda Cahalane and grandsons Keith Custeau and Sean Cahalane
She is survived by daughter Laura and her husband Kenneth Shevlin of Derry, NH. Daughter Delia Custeau of Haverhill, MA. Daughter Suzanne and her husband George Dalton of Haverhill, son Albert and his wife Sandra Custeau of Manchester and son Raymond Custeau of Manchester, NH. She has 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren She is also survived by her brother, Conrad Provencher and wife Doris of Pennsylvania; brother, Albert Provencher and wife Emily of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Maureen Provencher of California; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Mary Church. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence. The funeral is under the direction of the Edgar J. Racicot Inc.
