Vivian Marie Chaney, age 82, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Mrs. Chaney was the daughter of the late Emil Henry and Christle Hattie Laffert Dahm. Mrs. Chaney was preceded in death by her husband William Henry Chaney.
Mrs. Chaney is survived by. Three sons, Earl R. Chaney, of Douglas, GA., William D “Buddy” Chaney, of Douglas, GA., and Carl L. Chaney, of Douglas, GA.; Four daughters, Janice Moore, of Douglas, GA., Wilma J. Futch, of Douglas, GA., Martha Nell Knight, of Douglas, GA., and Marlene Kirkland, of Douglas, GA. ; Two brothers, Emil Dahm, of Washington, and Henry Dahm, of Douglas, GA., Two sisters, Margaret Hjellum, of Washington, and Lucille Tidd, of Montana.; Fifteen grandchildren; Several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 4 :00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Adcock, Rev. Scott Smith, and Rev. Brent Chaney officiating. Interment followed at Chatterton Church Cemetery.
