SALEM- John P. Bick, 50, husband of Marianne S. (Doron) Bick of Danvers, formerly of Salem, died Thursday evening, March 25, 2004 in Salem Hospital following a long illness
Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Donlon) Bick.
He was employed in the construction industry for the past 12 years as a heavy equipment operator, and was previously employed for 15 years as a letter carrier at the Salem Post Office.
Mr Bick had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping. A graduate of Salem High School with the class of 1971, he was a resident of Salem until moving to Danvers in the early 1990's.
Besides his wife, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage, he is survived by three sons, David J. Bick, Daniel S. Bick, Michael J. Bick, all of Danvers, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Patrick & Donna Bick of Salem, New Hampshire, Michael and Joan Bick of Salem, one sister and brother-in-law, Eve and Patrick McNamee of Salem and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Monday, 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Hospice of The North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.
