Obituary

Rosario A. “Ross” Lamy, 85, of Pinardville, died March 26, 2004, at Catholic Medical Center, after a sudden illness.

Born August 5, 1918, in St. Thomas de Caxton, Quebec, he was a son of Alexandre and Dorilla (Milot) Lamy. He lived most of his life in Pinardville. He was a graduate of New Hampshire College.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Inspector General’s staff.

Mr. Lamy retired as an assistant manager from Habitant Soup Co. where he worked for many years.

He was a member and past commander of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1699, and a member and former King Lion of the Pinardville Lions Club. He also had been a Boy Scout leader for Troop 102.

He had been a member of St. Edmond Parish most of his life and recently was a communicant of the Parish of the Transfiguration.

He was married to Blanche (Trudel) Lamy, who died in 1998.

Family members include two daughters, Elise A. Knowlton of Hooksett, and Elaine M. Lamy of Quincy, MA; two sons, Denis A. Lamy and Richard W. Lamy, both of Pinardville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Conrad Lamy of Meriden, CT; nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday March 30, 2004 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
