Raymond Lamar Dockery, age 85, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012. Mr. Dockery was the son of the late John Bunyan and Rebecca Lott Dockery, born in Coffee County September 7, 1926.
Mr. Dockery is survived by. His wife Margaret W. Dockery, of Douglas, GA.: Three sons, Phillip Dockery, of Broxton, GA., Jeffery Dockery, of Nicholls, GA., and Andrew Dockery, of Jacksonville, FL.; One daughter, Lorna Hurst, of Douglas, GA.; One brother, Harry Dockery, of Broxton, GA.; Nine grandchildren, Abraham Dockery, Mary Dockery, Cory Dockery, Michael Dockery, Brandon Dockery, Aaron Hurst, Bobby Hurst, Chandler Hurst, and Avery Hurst.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 27 at 2 :00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Ayers officiating. Interment followed at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
