Born June 13, 1926, Evelyn passed away on January 22, 2012. Beloved wife of John W. Snyder and George A. James, mother of Jack Snyder, daughter of Pauline M. Doyle and sister of John E. Doyle, Jr. all having passed before her. Evelyn was a graduate of Seton High School, a long time resident of Loch Raven Village and an active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Sodality and Choir. She worked at Calvert Hall High School for over 25 years and had a great friend in the late Brother Andrew. She is survived by her brother Joseph Doyle, her nieces Kathy Caswell, Lauren Vaccari, Heather and Wendy Doyle and nephews Michael, John and Patrick Doyle and her special grand niece, Jenny, and the rest of the Doyle family. She will always be remembered for her kindness and the famous PB & J rubs. In addition to her relatives she will be missed by a host of dear friends, especially her close friend, Susan Cellitto and the entire Cellitto family.
Friends may call the Funeral Home, 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29B) on Friday, January 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8501 Loch Raven Blvd. on Saturday, January 28th at 9a.m. Interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1759 R Street NW, Washington, DC 20009.
