Olga M. (Ferris) Coriaty, 94, of Brockton died Sunday January 22, 2012 after a brief illness, a daughter of the late Harry and Adele (Moses) Ferris. She was born and raised in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She was the wife of the late Philip S. Coriaty. Olga and Phil moved to Brockton in 1950 and lived out the rest of their lives there. Olga worked as a stitcher for MacIntosh and Forcaster. Later she worked many years at Producers Dairy and Knapp Shoe from which she retired. She was a past president and member of Ladies Auxiliary of the Lebanese American Club. She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Maronite Church. Olga enjoyed meeting friends and playing cards at the Mary Kennedy Senior Center on Father Kenny Way.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Mowery and her husband Shannon of Melbourne, FL; her daughter Phyllis Delaney of Brockton; and her son Philip Coriaty and his wife Joanne from Brockton. She was the grandmother of Lon and Nick Mowery of Florida and their wives; Kevin Delaney and his wife of Quincy; Michael Delaney and his wife of North Easton; Mark Delaney of Brockton and Kristina and Philip Coriaty of Brockton. She also leaves three great grandsons Nick, Chase and Camden in Florida. She was the sister of Rose Marie Ricciotti of Brockton and George Ferris of Weymouth and the late James and William Ferris and Victoria Cicione. She was the mother in law of the late Tim Delaney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday 3-7pm. Service of the Incense will be held at 6:30pm. The funeral procession will gather at the Funeral Home Thursday at 9am. followed by a Service of the Divine Mysteries in St. Theresa Maronite Church at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
