Bruce A. Chapman,Sr.age 72 of Hanson, died Sunday January 22, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after period of failing health. He was the devoted husband of Joanne (Fuller) Chapman. Bruce was born in Hanover and raised in East Bridgewater a son of the late Louis and Martha (Kimball) Chapman and had lived in Hanson for over 20 years.
Bruce had been the owner of Turnpike Auto Parts on rte 138 Canton for many years and most recently owned Easton Sales in Brockton. He was a huge Patriots fan and also enjoyed boating and was a member of the Braintree Yacht Club. He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Joanne, he leaves his children Bruce A. Chapman, Jr. of Wallingford, VT; Marybeth Connolly of Avon and the late Debra Sharon-LaGore. He leaves many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was the brother of Mary Lou Andre of Brockton and step father of Tricia Brodeur of Hanson. He also leaves three generations of nieces.
