Obituary

ROCKPORT: Henry Louis Cook, 66, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Marilyn (Sansone) Cook.
Born in Yonkers, NY on December 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Albert and Rose (Pascuzzi) Cook. Henry’s family moved to Watertown, MA in 1951. He attended Watertown schools and graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1963.
Henry moved to Rockport in 1984 with his wife and four children. Henry was employed as Electronics Technician for Raytheon for 20 years. He later worked with various carpentry contractors before opening his own business, H. Cook Carpentry of Rockport in the 1990's.
Henry will be remembered for his love of reading, music and cooking - interests that he has passed on to his sons. He enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing stories about his life. He will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
In addition to his wife of forty-three years, he is survived by his sons and future daughter-in-law, Christopher Cook of Rockport, Vincent Cook, Albert Cook and his fiancée Julie Ciarametaro all of Gloucester; a grandson, Jason Cook of Rockport; and many longtime friends. He was also predeceased by his brother, Ronald Cook of Watertown, MA; and his daughter, Donna Cook of Rockport.
In keeping with his wishes, no visiting hours or formal services will be held for him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The Open Door, 28 Emerson Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930.
