Michael Stephen Brown, 53, lifelong resident of Brockton passed quietly January 16, 2012. He was the beloved son of the late Rose (Prouty) and Raymond D Brown. He was a 1977 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School.
He enjoyed life, always had a friend to call on and was a shoulder to lean on. He centered much of his life around music and was the kind of fan that would become an actual longtime friend with the band. Some of his favorite past times included trips to New Hampshire, riding his motorcycle and helping friends in need.
Michael was a man that would take a moment to smell the flowers; he was gentle and found joy in the simple things life had to offer, whether it be his garden in the summer, picking blueberries at Myles Standish State Forest, building snowmen in the winter with his daughter or simply just playing with his dogs. He had such a genuine heart that to know him was to love him. Michael will be truly whole heartily missed and forever loved.
Michael is the cherished father of Rachel McCulloch of Bellingham; treasured brother to Patricia A Chapman of CA, Jeanne Brown of Milford, Margaret Brown of Shrewsbury, and the late Robert Brown; and adored uncle to Peg Wilson and her husband Scott, Lisa Anderson, Richard Chapman, Cindy Saenz, David Chapman,Shelly Brown, Susan Lifrieri and Loriann Damon.
Visiting hours only Saturday 11-2pm in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. There will be no public funeral service at this time. In memory of Michael memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protection Center, 1300 West Elm Street Ext. Brockton, MA 02301.
