Gerald M. “Gerry” MacAdams, 87 of Medford, died Wednesday after a brief illness in the Bear Hill Nursing Home, Wakefield, MA.
Born in Nova Scotia, he lived in Medford for 54 years and was the son of the late Nellie (MacDonald) and Howard MacAdams. Gerald was an Electronic Engineer with Raytheon for over 50 years and retired in 1987. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II from 1943 to 1946. Gerry enjoyed sports especially Hockey and also enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Wakefield Elks.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Helen E. (Gallant) MacAdams. Devoted father of Gary MacAdams and his wife Maureen of Winthrop, Scott MacAdams and his wife Donna of Medford, Stephen MacAdams and his wife Michelle of Salem. Loving grandfather of Katlyn, Meghan, Craig, Eric, Brandon and C.J. Loving great grandfather of Kayia and Marley. Brother of the late Mac, Norma, Clara, Ann and Marie.
A funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
