Leona H. (Hmurciak) Slack age 87 of Salem, NH, died Wednesday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 25 years, formerly of Lawrence, MA.
Mrs. Slack was a retired receptionist for St. Patrick’s Church in South Lawrence, MA. She had also worked in the mills in Lawrence for several years. She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH, and enjoyed playing in 45s tournaments.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Kenneth F. Slack of Salem, NH.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be held Saturday and Sunday from 3-6 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
