Loving son of the late Ellen (McManus) and John J. Hoey. Former husband of Mary (Dowd) Hoey of Milton. Brother of John of Easton, Freddy of Canton, Eleanor Sheldon of Norwood, Maureen Dunn of Randolph, and the late Rose Anne Hoey, Agnes Gallagher, Mary Driscoll, Francis “Bingo” and James. Devoted Grandfather of Jimmy, Christine, Caroline, Megie, John, Aidan, Ryan, Colin, Shane, Dillon, Patrick and Bridget. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be held at his daughter’s home, 19 Pomfret St. West Roxbury, Friday from 2-8 pm. Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church on Saturday, Jan. 21st at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. US Army combat veteran, Korea. Late employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
