Lawrence C. Dart, 83, of Pawcatuck, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Pendleton Healthcare.
He was born on August 29, 1928 in Mystic, the son of Clifford and Eva (Geyer) Dart. He was an Air Force veteran, serving in World War II and had the distinction of receiving the Purple Heart.
Over the years, Larry worked at Electric Boat, as a fisherman, and most recently as a carpenter. He was a member of the Portuguese Club, the German Club and The VFW Post 3263.
He is survived by his son, Eric and his wife April of Stonington, daughter Brenda and her husband Ed of South Dartmouth MA, sons Larry and Clifford Dart and daughter Diane Dart, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Ralph and his sister Margaret.
At Larry’s request, funeral services will be private for the family.
