Obituary

Virginia A. Snow, 96, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Natick. She was the beloved wife of the late Honorable H. Edward Snow.

Virginia was born in Natick, one of six children of the late William and Ann (McDonald) Hall. She graduated from Natick High School and attended the New England School of Art in Boston. As a talented young photographic retoucher, she was employed by the world famous Bachrach Portrait Studio in Boston. During World War II, while her husband was overseas serving as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, she owned and operated her own photography portrait studio in Natick. After the war, Virginia spent the greater part of her life focused on her family, her art and her beautiful gardens, providing unconditional love and a wonderful sense of humor that was with her until her death.

Virginia was the devoted mother to her six children and their families; Virginia Snow of Glendale, California; Harvey Snow (deceased), Edward and Mary Snow of Belmont, Margaret Snow Reagan of Natick, Sara Snow and David Adomaitis of Leominster, and Jon and Teresa Snow of Natick. She was the devoted grandmother to her ten grandchildren and their families; Daniel and Carolyn Reagan, Gail Anne Snow, Anne Reagan, Edward and Mary Snow, Robert and Malgorzata Snow, David and Cindy Snow, Alexander Swyryn, Patrick and Lisa Snow, Virginia Snow Burke, and Katie Snow. She was the devoted great grandmother to her six great grandchildren; Brendan Reagan, Colin Reagan, Steven Snow, Casey Snow, Alexander Snow, and Adeline Snow. She was also devoted to her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church in Natick, on Saturday morning, January 21, 2012 at 9:00.A.M

Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery.
