COSTELLO, RITA AGNES (NOONAN) of South Boston, born July 13, 1914.Died January 16, 2012. Rita was the youngest of 13 children born in Charlestown, MA Wife of the late Joseph Costello. She was loved by 3 daughters: the late Patricia Cvilikas, Maryellen Costello and Susan Wilson, 6 grandchildren: Edward Cvilikas, Robert Cvilikas, Karen Cvilikas, Jesse Loving, Jason Rodriguez and Gary Wilson, and 6 great grandchildren: Lauren, Kyle, Taylor, Brian, Maya and Miko, and countless others. At 97, Rita lived a full life. She was married, worked and raised her children in South Boston. She was notoriously feisty, stubborn and fiercely loyal. Visiting hours will be held at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON on Thursday from 5-8pm.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10am at St. Augustine’s Chapel, South Boston followed by interment services at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, MA.
