Patrick “Jay” J. Scala, of No. Attleboro formerly of Jamaica Plain, died on January 14th at Boston Medical Center at the age of 51. He is survived by his beloved wife Donna (Hammerle) Scala of No. Attleboro, his sons Michael Signorielli and Daniel Merhib. He also leaves his cherished grandson John Signorielli. He is the loving son of William and Carmella “Millie” Pender of Plymouth and the late Richard A. Scala. He was the brother of John Cunniff of Miami, Florida, Frank Scala of Somerville MA, William Pender of Scituate and Laura Doherty of Marshfield, and the late Richard Scala . He was the Step Brother of Stephen, Janice and Eric Pender of W. Roxbury . He is also survived my many nieces and nephews.
Jay was born in Brookline, MA. He enjoyed rebuilding cars and spending time with his Grandson. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rte 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Wednesday January 18th from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday January 19th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 11 AM. Burial will be Private.
