Beverly E. (Ernst) Coupe, a 61 year resident of Saugus, died on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose following an extended illness. She was 83 years old.
Beverly was born in Malden on January 13, 1929 to the late Alex and Hilda E. (Archibald) Ernst. She grew up in Malden and Melrose where she graduated from high school and received her degree in nursing. Beverly worked for almost 45 years as a nurse at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and retired in 1994. She enjoyed camping and rode motorcycles but most of all she enjoyed caring for her dogs. She was a member of Ladies Auxillary, Saugus V.F.W. Post # 2346.
Beverly is the beloved wife of the late Frederick V. Coupe. She is the devoted mother of Victoria Robinson and her husband Paul of Saugus. She is the loving Grandmother of Deana Middleton, Robert Middleton and his wife Rachel and Janelle DeAvilla and her husband Steven and her great-grandchildren; Alexis, Rylee and Cooper.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service for Beverly at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. There are no visiting hours.
