In Taunton, January 10, 2012 Mildred Braga, age 82 passed away in her home unexpectedly. Mildred was the daughter of the late Manuel & Ann (Foy) Braga. Mildred has resided in Taunton her entire life, she was educated in Taunton Schools and a graduate of Bridgewater State College. Mildred was the former principal of the Leddy School in Taunton. She was a member of several local libraries, including the Taunton Library where she volunteered. She frequented the KP Grille in Rehoboth for many meals, had a love for the arts and enjoyed going to the opera and plays. Mildred will be missed by her large network of friends and her many cousins. She also leaves her uncle William Braga and his wife Amy of Taunton. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, Jan. 16th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 4-6pm. Burial in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
