Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St.Colman Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm.
Obituary
Miss Creeden died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Manor after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late John A. and Abbie E. (Hallisey) Creeden. Lifelong resident of Brockton and graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1936. Retired as a clerk from the nursing office at Brockton Hospital after many years. She had also worked as a cashier at the former Brockton Theatre. She enjoyed reading.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. James F. (Abbie F.) O’Connell of Brockton, a nephew, James F. O’Connell Jr. and his wife Margaret of Mansfield and two great nephews, Daniel and Edmund and a great niece, Alice O’Connell and several cousins.
