Spring Hill, FL.– Andre R. Marcoux, 65, died January 10, 2012 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on October 12, 1946 the son of Arthur and Rolande (Georgeot) Marcoux.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and later received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from St. Anselm College.
He retired as a captain from the Manchester Police Department after 24 years of service.
He was a lifetime member of the NH Police Officers Association. He held membership at American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post.
Family members include his wife of 45 years; Pauline (Boisvert) Marcoux of Spring Hill, FL., 2 sons; Robert A. Marcoux and his wife Linda of Dunbarton, Paul J. Marcoux and his wife Sandy of Manchester, 1 daughter; Michelle Breault and her husband Steven of Londonderry, 10 grandchildren; 1 brother; Paul J. Marcoux and his wife Kelly of Ft. Wayne, IN., 2 sisters; Jodi Boudro and Joyce Birt of Spring Hill, FL., several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont and Harvard Sts.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
