Miss Margaret “Peggy” Smith, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 9 in Morton Hospital. She was born 65 years ago in Somerville, and had been a Taunton resident for most of her life. She attended Co-op of Taunton and was a member of the Taunton/Raynham Junior Womens Group. She enjoyed listening to music, watching “American Idol” and the New England Patriots on television. Peggy holds a very special place in everyone’s heart that knew her. She will be greatly missed by her housemates, her caregivers and her Co-op friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Friday, January 13 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. All are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the Service, Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
