Roger R. Mandeville, 90, of Oakland Grove Health Care Center died Friday, January 6, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Eva (Archambeault) Mandeville and the late Mary (Cronan) Mandeville. Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Eugene and Marie Mandeville.
Roger worked as an accountant for the Woonsocket Housing Authority for thirty three years, retiring in 1984. An Army veteran, Roger served in WWII. He had also been a member of Club Marquette.
He is survived by his son, Richard Mandeville and his wife Jeanne of Manville, RI, his daughter, Gloria-Jean Magid of San Diego, CA, his siblings Gaston Mandeville and Florette Mandeville, both of Woonsocket and two grandchildren, David Mandeville and Elizabeth Magid.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Services are under the care of the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home.
