Juanita Rose "Rosie" Potter, 67, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Rosie was born in Louisville, KY to Juanita (Cundiff) Corley.
Rosie and her Sister Helen, were Co-Owners of Ollies Trolley restaurant, since 1983. Before owning the restaurant, she worked on the personal staff of Governor John Y. Brown.
She was a member of Lynnhurst Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her Father: Roscoe Raymond and her new Daddy: J. B. Corley.
Survivors include her Husband of 49 years Jesse R. Potter; her children: Linda Cutsinger (Joe), Carolyn Logsdon, and Jennifer Abell (Scott); 5 Grandchildren: Jessica, Danielle, Shelby, Merideth, and Autumn; 1 Great Granddaughter: Kami;
her Mother, Juanita Corley; 2 Brothers: Frank Raymond (Belinda) & Wayne Corley (Gail); 2 Sisters: Helen Blackburn (Michael) & Karen Grigsby; 4 Neices: Michelle (James), Ashleigh (Ben), Natalie, & Ashton; Nephews: Michael (Tracy), Frank, Jeffrey (Christy), Dustin, Tyler, Aaron, & Hunter; and close family friends: Terry DeSpain & Helen McNeil.
Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday 2:00 till 8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Burial will be at a later date.
