Dorothy M. Paquette,, 88, of Moswansicut Lake Drive, died Saturday in RI Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Roland A. Paquette.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas and Madeline (Skirrow) Gentile. She had lived in Scituate for 51 years previously living in Providence and Warwick. She had completed her Theological Education from the University of the South School of Theology. She was a member of Trinty Church, Scituate. She enjoyed sewing and baking.
She had worked in the Medical Records Department at RI Hospital and had also been a Telephone Operator and Computer operator with the former NE Telephone & Telegraph Company. She had also been a Reconciler with the former RI Hospital Trust Bank and had worked in Computer operations with the former Fleet Bank.
She is survived by her children, Gail Kraft and her husband John of Belfast, ME, Craig Paquette and his wife Marylou of Richmond and Lynn Cross of Coventry, a sister, Lois Hall of Brooklyn, CT and her granddaughter with whom she lived, Melissa Gerbi of Scituate, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 7 nieces. She was the sister of the late Walter Gentile and Evelyn Mederios.
Her funeral will be held Wenesday10am in Trinty Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI 02857 Visitation Tuesday 5-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
