Survived by son Wayne Merrill (JeNan) of Franklin, grandchildren Beth Merrill Hart (Jamie) of Nashville and Mark Merrill of Franklin, brothers Jesse W. Baker (Jean) of Gallatin and Thomas E. McGee (Barbara) of Springfield, sisters Elsie Kennedy of Bellevue and Ethel Furlough of Lebanon
Emily Merrill and her husband Bill owned and operated Merrill’s Restaurant on Nolensville Road in Nashville for several years and retired in 1972. After this they farmed for a short time in Humphreys County and then spent several years in Florida during their retirement. They then returned to Tennessee and lived in Lewisburg.Graveside services will be 11am Tuesday,January 10, 2012 at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3pm until 7pm Monday, January 9, 2012 at Ellis Funeral Home.615 255-5412
