worcester-Suzanne A. (Ducharme) Mallett, 67, of Worcester, died Thursday, January 5th in the Christopher House surrounded by her family. She leaves her husband of 25 years, David P. Mallett; a son, Stephen D. MacGinnis and his wife Julie of Webster; two daughters, Donna M. MacGinnis of Worcester, and Kristy L. Lewandowski and her husband Darren of Worcester; a sister, Diane Burke and her husband Charles of Millbury; her close friends, Anne Cummings of Worcester and Eileen Fulginiti of Shrewsbury; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her faithful cat Oliver. She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Ducharme and a sister, Madeline Healy.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Alfred and Lucienne (Madore) Ducharme and graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Suzanne was a medical secretary at the University of Massachusetts Hospital, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed gardening, Foxwoods, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
The funeral is Tuesday, January 10th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. Calling hours are Monday, January 9th from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
