Haran, John T. of Needham. January 5, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Ann P. (Hastings) Haran. Devoted Father of John T. Haran Jr. and his wife Drusilla of Braintree, Robert B. Haran and his wife Pauline of Needham, and Kevin G. Haran of Salem, NH. Grandfather of John, Edward, Michael, Jamie, Katy, and Bobby. Great-Grandfather of Connor and Colin. Brother of the late Michael and Austin Haran and Veronica McGrail. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was a Graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. WWII Veteran, served in the European Theatre as a Captain in the US Army, and retired District Manager for the New England Telephone Company for 37 years. Member of the Needham Knights of Columbus and the Needham VFW.
