Worcester - Conrad L. Chenard, 93, formerly of Worcester, died Monday, January 2nd in Millbury Healthcare Center. He leaves his wife of 71 years, Madeleine A. (Boisvert) Chenard; three daughters, Suzanne M. Reynolds and her husband Thomas of Worcester, Constance L. Newman and her husband Carl of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Rachel M. Belanger of Worcester; two brothers, Ralph Chenard of Biddeford, ME and David Chenard of Bourne; a sister, Pauline Hevey of Biddeford, ME; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren. Another daughter, Michelle E. Chenard, died in 1958. He was also predeceased by six brothers and a sister.
He was born in Biddeford, ME, the son of Henry and Blanche (Pinard) Chenard and graduated from Biddeford High School. He owned and operated Chenard Machine Company for many years before retiring in 1967.
The funeral is Saturday, January 7th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held Saturday from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
