Obituary

GLOUCESTER: David L. “Boudy” Boudrow, 71, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in the Addison Gilbert Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Scola) Boudrow.
Born in Gloucester on May 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Irving L. and Sylvia H. (Elso) Boudrow. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester.
He was employed by the former O’Donnell-Usen Seafood Kitchens, until the plant closed in the early 1990’s. In his younger years, Boudy was employed by Gorton’s of Gloucester, followed by working in the construction field in the Cape Ann area.
He was a longtime member of the Doucette-Linguard V.F.W. Post #1624 of Gloucester and enjoyed fishing for bluefish and stripers.
In addition to his wife of forty-nine years, he is survived by two sons, Robert S., husband of Sheila M. (Williams) Boudrow and John D. Boudrow, fiancé of Nancy McFadden; a grandson, Christopher R. Boudrow; a granddaughter, Heather M. Boudrow; his mother-in-law, Margaret Scola, sister-in-law, Jacqueline (Scola), wife of James Dort; brother-in-law, Paul Scola and among many nieces and nephews, a special niece, Mary Amero. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Russell and Robert Boudrow, a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Horace S. Stephens; father-in-law, Sebastian Scola and a sister-in-law, Joanne Scola.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 260 Main St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
