Lucien E. Dube 90, formerly of Monty Ave., died Tuesday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Roy) Dube. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Louis and Graziella (Chevalier) Dube. He served in the US Army during WWII. Lucien worked for Mine Safety Appliance Co. for twenty nine years before his retirement. He was a member of the St. Joseph Veteran's Club, and the YMCA Senior Fitness Club.
Lucien is survived by his sons, Robert Dube and his wife Diane of Blackstone, and Marcel Dube and his wife Donna of Cumberland, two grandchildren, Michael Dube and Jeanne Lubinsky, and three great grand children. He was also the brother of the late Herve and Sylvio Dube, and Evelyn Baril.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Thursday 4-7 PM.
