Obituary

DUDLEY - Robert R. Baronoski, 90, died peacefully Monday, January 2, 2012 at home.

He leaves his wife of 64 years, Anna M. (Hmura) Baronoski; a son, Gary R. Baronoski of Dudley; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Baronoski and by his sister Irene Peloquin.

He was born and raised in Worcester, a son of Vincent and Stasia (Kaliszewski) Baranowski. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School in Worcester. He moved to Dudley in 1982.

He was a World War II Army veteran and served in Europe.

Mr. Baronoski worked at Morgan Construction Company in Worcester as a machinist for 34 years before retiring in 1985.

He was a member of the PNI Club of Worcester, a member and former president of the PNA Lodge #758 of Worcester, a member of the Polish American Veterans of Worcester and a member of thePolish American Veterans of Webster and Dudley, and a former member and president of the St. Mary’s Booster Club of Worcester. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester. He received the key to the City of Worcester in 1969.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 5, at noon in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted, donations in his memory may be made to either Our Lady of Czestochowa Church Memorial Fund, 34 Ward Street, Worcester, MA 01610 or to St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street, PO Box 98, Dudley, MA 01571-0098. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
