Obituary

Mrs. Andrea L. (Renaud) Proulx, of Taunton, died Sunday, January 1 in Longmeadow of Taunton following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Henry T. Proulx, Jr. She was born 58 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of Helen B. (Bannon) Renaud and the late Andrew R. Renaud. She was educated in Taunton, was a graduate of Johnson and Wales College in Providence, and had been a lifelong city resident. Andrea had been employed as a salesclerk at WalMart in Raynham for 5 years. She was previously employed as a CNA/Home Health Aide for Anodyne Associates of Quincy for several years, and was formerly employed at Reed and Barton Silversmiths for a number of years. She enjoyed crocheting, watching wrestling matches, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Taunton.
In addition to her husband and mother, both of Taunton, she leaves: 1 son: Edward Proulx of Taunton; 1 daughter: Rosemarie Proulx of Taunton; 1 sister: Diane Soares and her husband, Alfred of East Taunton; an aunt: Lillian Bannon of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Union Congregational Church, 265 West Britannia Street, on Friday, January 6 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in the V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
