Joyce Desmarais, age 58 of Fall River, passed away Dec. 30, 2011. She was the former wife of Donald Desmarais and the daughter of the late Louis & Rita (Daveau) Ayotte. She was a member of the Fall River Elks Lodge and the VFW Post 86 of Fall River.
Ms. Desmarais is survived by her daughters: Lisa Desmarais (significant other Rodney Perry) of E. Providence , RI and Deborah Pavao (husband Eric) of Somerset; siblings: Romeo Ayotte of Seekonk, Theresa Howarth of Fall River, Lorreta Ferreira of Swansea, Ronald Ayotte of Fall River, Sandra Luiz of SC, David Ayotte of Fall River, Deborah Robert of Tiverton, & Gary Ayotte of Fall River; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNRAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, on THURSDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M. www.rogersfunral.com.
