Sidebottom, LaVon (Waits), 90, passed away January 1, 2012 at her home. She was a homemaker, and gifted artist.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clarence V. Sidebottom.
Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Matthews (Ray); son, Gary L. Sidebottom (Rosie); five grandchildren, Sheri, Pam, Steve, Danny, and Todd.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed 2-8 at the funeral home.
