Frank Stanfill, Sr., 79, of Clarksville, TN, died on Saturday December 31, 2011 at Grace Healthcare. He was born on June 21, 1932 in Clarksville, TN to the late Haldie Stanfill and Sarah Gusty Stanfill. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Bob Stanfill and J.W. Stanfill and a sister; Mildred Waynick.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 5, 2012 at 2 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday January 4, 2012 from 4-8 PM and Thursday January 5, 2012 from 11 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Frank was owner of Frank's Hamburger since 1983. He also worked for Booster for 16 years. Frank's life was the restaurant and he loved his customers. Frank lived to work and he kept his family together. He loved his children and grandchildren. Frank's was the last downtown icon still in business.
He is survived by a son; Frank Stanfill, Jr. of Clarksville, TN, a daughter; Suzanne (Mark) Hollyfield of Clarksville, TN, a sister; Della Vanscoy of Nashville, TN, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill South, John Hopson, Randy Clouser, Cecil Morgan, Jack Mitchell, and Curtis Mize.
